Kind of Wild Welcomes Katie Lee Biegel

Healdsburg, July 17th , 2023 — Kind of Wild Wines, the first globally-crafted, certified organic and certified vegan direct-to-consumer wine brand in the U.S. is proud to introduce renowned celebrity chef, best-selling author and award-winning television personality Katie Lee Biegel as partner and co-founder.

Biegel is currently co-host of Food Network’s Emmy-nominated talk show The Kitchen and host of Cooking Channel’s Beach Bites with Katie Lee. Adding to her impressive resume in broadcasting, she has published several best-selling cookbooks, contributed to numerous magazines and television shows, written her own novel, Groundswell, and served as Executive Producer on the 2022 Hallmark Channel movie adapted from her work.

“As someone who is passionate about food and wine, I feel like I have met my match in Kind of Wild. I am so thrilled to become a co-founder and partner, as our values in creating delicious wines that are also certified organic, sustainable, zero sugar, zero additives, and give back to environmental causes perfectly align. This is the wine I want to drink, that I serve at home when entertaining, and I believe everyone who tries it will feel the same.”

After initially offering wines to consumers exclusively from its website, Kind of Wild has recently introduced their product range into national grocery retail. This partnership sets the stage to build the Kind of Wild brand and expand its reach with an omni-channel presence.

“We could not be more excited to welcome Katie to the Kind of Wild family,” comments co-founder, Jordan Sager. He continues, “Her personality is infectious and her experience in food and wine will bring tremendous value to our brand and accelerate our efforts to expose consumers to our top-quality organically produced wines.”

With demand for certified organic wines continuing to grow year-over-year, Kind of Wild Wines took its environmental mission a step further by becoming 1% for the Planet members in 2022, committing to donate at least one-percent of annual revenue to environmental partner foundations. The 2023 pledge funds two exceptional 501c3 organizations, One Tree Planted and the Organic Farming Research Foundation.

The current Kind of Wild collection is a range of nine certified organic wines from six different countries – one Sparkling, one Rosé, three Whites, and four Reds – with new selections set to launch later this summer. The wines are crafted with family growers in premium wine appellations all over the world.  Kind of Wild introduces consumers to a true global wine experience, while enforcing a commitment to addressing environmental impact at the core of the brand’s mission.
